Freightworks Art is a new branch of the Freightworks family,
specializing in logistics for the art industry. We are dedicated for
handling, packing and crating of paintings, statues, antiques,
models, etc., and move them with the utmost care locally as well as
internationally from door to door basis.
We can provide transport solutions for galleries attending art shows
and fairs any day of the week. On delivery we can also provide help
with the construction of the stand i.e. stand layout, picture
hanging etc. We provide an on-site wrapping service for the protection
of work during transit. All our employees fully understand the
uniqueness of artwork and are trained in the handling and packaging of
paintings, sculptures, glassware and unusual and delicate objects.
We can supply high quality wooden packing case for all artworks going
airfreight, sea freight or simply for storage. All wooden packing will
offer the optimum protection and volume economy for international
shipping or touring exhibitions.Cases are generally of a timber and
plywood construction with internal protection.
MODE OF TRANSPORT
We operate using the latest, discreet, unmarked vehicles
equipped with air conditioning and hydraulic tail lift. The vehicles
are all internally lined with suitable padding and harnesses to
ensure pieces remain safe during the journey. All drivers are
experienced in handling art.
PACKING / STORAGE
We provide storage with 24hour surveillance. This can be
provided whether it is for the short term or long term. Freightworks
offers a full range of packing materials incl. wooden packing
cases. The packaging we use is at highest quality for the safety and
care of your art.
DELIVERY
Our professional workforce will deliver your artwork with
the utmost care to the specified location and make sure that each piece
of artwork is placed where it is required.
